About us
The house was built in 1743 for a winegrower of the town. It has kept its cobbled courtyard, its wooden staircase and the vaulted room where the pressing was done, now the breakfast room.
Five rooms, not one more, because beyond that you no longer serve breakfast at the table. Hélène Kessler has run it since 2019, after fifteen years in hotels. Housekeeping, welcome and the morning cooking are done by two people, always the same two.
The old town is four minutes away on foot, the station twelve, and the wine road starts at the edge of Colmar. We lend bicycles, we keep your luggage before check-in and after check-out, and we will tell you plainly which restaurant is worth the walk and which no longer is.
